Why this one is different

Every pack simulator on the internet runs on numbers somebody wrote down once. So does every odds table, which is the problem the pull ledgerexists to fix. This page draws from the ledger’s own posterior for the set you picked, computed by the same function that renders the ledger, with the number of logged boxes behind it shown above the button. On a set nobody has logged yet it says so and falls back to the community figures, rather than quietly pretending.

The draw itself is a Poisson count per grade, which is the same model the ledger publishes: a box holds a whole number of SARs, not a coin flip per pack. Drawing it any other way would give a simulator whose long-run behaviour disagreed with the page that supplied its odds, and the whole point is that they agree.

The seed is shown and the draw runs in your browser, so a box is reproducible and nothing about it is hidden. That is not a security guarantee — your browser holds both the seed and the card pool — but there is nothing at stake here, and showing the seed is more honest than a spinner that claims fairness.

Money figures use the same Japanese singles prices as the rest of the site, so a simulated box is worth what those cards are worth today. It is not a promise about a real one: the cards you would actually pull are a sample of one.
